Stop-Motion Character Animation

Because I didn't have a tripod in handy, I put my useful text books on a stool and stabilized it so that my camera would sit still. I placed me coffee maker in it's usual spot and started to photograph it. At the beginning I had a hard time trying to make it look like the plug was moving by itself but managed to do so with a wooden skewer and a black thread. The coffee maker was easy to move around, I just moved it inch by inch.
